Thanks for letting me know, This link was the one that I was sent from Tere M. Free of Nature Quest, Inc. Their website is still being developed.

The brochure they hand you at the park entrance says they close at sundown. At 6:25 a man appeared in a truck and told us they were closing. I called them today to check the hours and they said they would be closing at 6:30 again. Are they kidding? On a saturday with a heat index of 110 degrees?!

We visited Poe Springs Park today (5/24/10. A pretty park, great amenities, no one there at 10 AM. There are very few small fish in the spring but it is very swimmer friendly (kids) and quiet and beautiful. A great place if you just want a cool dip and peace and quiet. Will visit there again. The resident Slider turtle is shy but doesn't mind swimmers. Kodak moments everywhere.
